Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Party and volunteering (picture heavy!)

We were blessed again this year to be able to participate with the Operation Christmas Child Program.

The kiddos got to shop for, and pack their own shoeboxes this year which they really enjoyed.

(He had to have his favorite dog, Licorice, in this picture with his shoebox stuff)  =)

NOVEMBER 22, 2013 Friday
We had a BLAST at our homeschool 'Shoebox' party put on by my dear friend, Jenn (those are a few of her cuties there to the right of Baby Girl)

This little sweetheart was one of the brave kiddos who stepped forward to pray over the shoeboxes

Look at that group... Over 90 kiddos!

We had activitiy tables for every continent. They children were able to go to each table and take part in that activity. When they finished, they put a star on that continent, on the map they were handed at the beginning of the morning, and when their map had all 7 stars, they received a prize.

All the mommas contributed to the filling of the bellies by providing dishes from around the world. YUM. (this was just one of the tables, there was more to the left of this picture)

We also volunteered to help with more shoebox packing at one of the drop-off locations in town on they Monday following the Shoebox party.  Brother got to play at Daddy's work for  a few hours as I didn't know what they would have for him to do here. Next year I think I'll bring him. If nothing else, he can provide us with some entertainment =)

(This little ham ball is one of our favorite people ever)  :)

Can't wait to do it again next year!
